Tammie Chew stands as the only Chinese actress from Singapore to effortlessly cross over into the Malay channel, while also gracing English and Chinese TV shows. Her breakthrough arrived in 2015 with the role of “Happy” in Menantu International, a local sitcom that shattered 12-year viewership records. This achievement led to a “Most Promising Actor/Actress” nomination at the prestigious MediaCorp Pesta Perdana awards. The show ran successfully for three seasons until 2020.
